Well, it didn't appear obvious to me from that article that the faculty "want to go against over a century of tradition." It sounds more like one or two people at the med school do - I didn't see anything in there that attempted to gauge the feeling of the entire faculty, which would have to vote on any eventual proposal. If there'sany justice in the world, the faculty will give those med school upstarts the beatdown they so richly deserve. Now where's my goalie stick...
