Come on, it's been a full day already. Surely I wasn't the only person who yelled for joy in the car when he heard?

I did too! Because I'm really optimistic about his replacement!

OK, I understand that you don't like the guy,. Heck, I'm a Republican and I don't like the guy. But yelling for joy over the resignation of a political appointee? That seems a little excessive.

Maybe if it was our AD's tenure...

Glad I'm not the only one hoping it was a typo. The 'G' key is sorta near the 'D'
Maybe it was the decision to use a pronoun as well as the uncommon abbrev in the original subject line. When I come to this site, given the not-insignificant traffic from Canada which I suspect also visits, "our" doesn't immediately snap me to the nation-level.

I agree on the "our" comment, though. Most of the Canadians visiting this site probably have two AGs anyway, and all of the Americans do.

I'm getting a lot of flak for a pronoun I didn't even put in; an underling who prepared that post. I just signed it. In fact, I don't exactly recall signing it. In fact, to the best of my recollection, such a pronoun was never discussed when we considered drafting the post. In fact, I'm not sure if I used the pronoun at all, but I would be happy to look into it.
Oh, and KeithK, I yell at/with the radio a lot when I'm in the car. It helps keep my mind off the fact that everyone in Boston drives like a madman, there's constantly construction on main roads during rush hour, and the stoplights' timing was apparently set by a retarded chipmunk.

If it were the AD it would've been posted in a different forum.RichHSection A Banshee

Edit: And, come to think of it, would've been followed by more exclamation points.

I think it's pretty a uncommon abbreviation outside of legal circles.

It's pretty well known to anyone who follows politics. Then again, considering voter turnout, that might qualify as pretty uncommon.Chris '03Jacob 03Uncommon? Really?RichH
