ok. just wanted to say WOW. This is late in coming but how often do you you see an article on the front page of UCHO about Cornell, let alone 2? This in itself tells me (as if i need reinforcement) that the team is doing something right right now! Way to go red!! Let's hope that they can keep it up this week-end!

I'm impressed as well, but...
With all the focus on our team, AND Moy/Blaeser picking us for the weekend sweep, you gotta be at least a little bit worried.

With the addition of the big cornell logo in the "Breaking News" section of USCHO's front page, that brings our front page mentions up to 4 (2 articles, the breaking news, and the poll showing LeNeveu the 2nd most impressive freshman.) If you count the add for Ken Dryden's "The Game" as another, that makes 5 cornell menitons. : )
Lets keep it going red...

Underhill's confidence radiates the minute his skates onto the ice each night
If there was ever a bad weekend for an opposing fan to call Underhill a sive
I see IvyLeagueSports.com shares some editing standards with the Daily Sun and the Journal.
And don't you think that if the writer mentions his shaven head, it would behoove them to find a more recent photo? Yeesh.

It seems as if these articles from the IVY page were taken directly from the Conell Athletic page. Al the articles they have posted were released anywhere form a week to 2 months earlier on the Men's Hockey page.....damn those people are lazy!

Ummmm. cornellbigred.com and ivyleaguesports.com are the same company. CU Athletics or Sports Marketing or somebody supplies the content. Of course they reuse stories. Otherwise, Erin and Molly would have to write twice as much stuff...
(Disclaimer: I have no direct inside knowledge of how things are actually run. This is just an asspull based on observations regarding site changes since it was outsourced by athletics. Ever wonder why it wasn't hosted at www.athletics.cornell.edu anymore? )
