their record is now 9-9-3

so how would this work into all the rankings that I don't understand...like the pwr and the rpi...and how would this affect cornell?

Harvard's loss hurts our Opponents Win Pct stat, which is a component of RPI (anyone know the breakdown off hand). It also hurts our common opponents stat with Northeastern. That's about it. Oh, it also moves Harvard to 9-9-3 so if they lose more than they win from here on out they won't end up a TUC (which wouldn't be a total disaster since we did split).

I believe the RPI breakdown for college hockey is 35-50-15, for win %, opponent's win %, and opponent's opponent's win %, respectively.

With BU beating BC (5-3), Cornell's PWR ranking improves to #9.

Full listing can be viewd at [www.uscho.com]
(also, how do I make this into a link).

I suppose BU beating Northeastern would help our PWR slightly as well?

duh, I guess I made the link work.

Also, I guess BU winning will help us, as will Harvard beating BC. Am i right in my assumption?

Any non-conf win by an ECAC team helps us as a rule (except in comparisons against that ECAC team - not an issue this season). Likewise, wins by an opponent generally help our PWR through Opp Win% and, in this case, OppOpp Win% (since Harvard and Yale played BU too). While this effect is a good thing, we are neck and neck with BU in the comparisons so I suspect it may be in our best interest to have BU lose a bunch of games down the stretch.
