Actually, I believe the new nickname is the "Red Ass." The "Red Braves" was not acceptable for some reason. White remains the "Biting Deerticks."

some friends of mine who are HUGE white fans mentioned that a whole bunch of guys in their frat are planning on wearing tighty-whities in support of the white -- they are going to take off their pants to show their support around midway thru the first period -- a full game in underwear is a bit too chilly.
