On the other hand, IIRC, in the article that appeared in Sports Illustrated at the start of the season, the two ECAC teams that were "previewed" were Cornell and Harvard. Nice job, SI.

Never saw that preview (a college hockey preview in SI? amazing), what did it say about Cornell?

Regarding the poll, maybe even ESPN recognizes the advantage a bye gives. :-P

Or they could be so out of it that they think those are the only teams left. Doubtful they could all be that dumb, but the longer I live the more dumb people I meet

Actually as I remember them mentioning this Sun. eve they only gave those four choices.
