All of the top seeds won, and all won in sweeps. Has that ever happened before?
It is particularly strange that it happened this year, since all of the home teams in the 3/8, 4/7 and 5/6 games were only 1 point ahead of their opponents in the final league standings. (Can't say I am at all surprised by the Cornell and Clarkson sweeps. But it would have been nice to see another el foldo from the Knights.)

It just seems to me that Kepler's Third Law (the one about RPI) actually applies to the ECAC in general. Don't ever try to predict the ECAC. The year where we have the most parity all of the home teams sweep their first round series. Amazing.
