Cornell Hockey Fans,
I recently authored a book to commemorate the 75-year anniversary of the first NCAA hockey tournament. Titled Frozen in Time: A History of the U.S. Men's College Ice Hockey Championship, the book features over 200 photographs of past college hockey greats and in-depth recaps of every national tournament played to date, including lengthy chapters on Cornell's 1967 and 1970 championship-winning teams. The book just became available on Amazon a couple of weeks ago.
All proceeds from the sale of the book will benefit the non-profit Matt Brown Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that provides equipment and other assistance to individuals living with serious spinal cord injuries. Matt was a high school hockey player from Massachusetts who became paralyzed from the shoulders down during a game in 2010 when he was checked into the boards.
Cornell archivist Evan Fay Earle generously donated numerous classic photos from those '67 and '70 Big Red teams for use in the book. The book also features shorter write-ups on Cornell's other Frozen Four teams, including the '68 and '69 squads with Ken Dryden, the unheralded team from 1980 that pulled off numerous upsets in the ECAC playoffs, and the defensive juggernaut from '03 that came within inches of playing in the title game.
Thank you very much. Feel free to contact me with any questions and/or feedback.

Mazel tov Brian, that's exciting - and really fantastic that all proceeds are going to such a good cause. To save a little time for others, the book is here. Looking forward to reading!
