Hope I'm not jinxing anything, but is seems time to move on from the 19-20 season thread.

Clarkson, Mercyhurst, Northern Michigan, Bemidji State, UAH, LIU, and Oswego are all picking up players from the dormant and probably moribund UAA squad. [www.adn.com]

Facts, especially specifics - like "a 41% cut in funding" - take all the fun out of discussing hockey programs.

The schools are about a 30 minute drive apart normally, but I’m sure lugging an ice surfacing machine would take a bit longer.

Colgate is also where a couple years back the Cornell-Colgate game was delayed because Cornell forgot to bring its game sweaters. Weird things happen.

Don't most rinks have two ice resurfacers, or at least keep the old one around and ready to go? Colgate just spent many millions on a new arena.

I’m also surprised that they may not have a 2nd one around.
