According to the emails the Harvard ticket office has been sending out, there are still SRO tickets available.

Alas, not only would we have been unable to attend Friday's game in person, but dss28's firm's holiday party is Friday 6-10pm and it's something we definitely shouldn't be skipping, so we can't watch at home either. I'll have to settle for CHN's score alerts. Not to worry, though, we'll make up for it by flying to Vegas for the Fortress Invitational and being at Lynah in person for the home version of Fish'n'Fowl. Safe travels and loud cheering, y'all.

“a full beer can heaved from the seats hit Big Red goalie Darren Eliot in the head, knocking him flat. It took several minutes to break up the melee that followed.
Afterward, The Harvard Crimson quoted Harvard coach Bill Cleary: “I’ve never been this upset about a win before. If those are the fans we’ve got, then we’ll play in an empty rink.”
Thankfully, it never came to that.”
Hmmm, I dunno. Harvard plays in an essentially empty rink quite often.

Donato said "We know their fan base also travels well, so we expect it to be a real electric environment here."
Meanwhile "Said Schafer: 'We’ll probably have more fans than they’ll have there.'"

Half way down begins CHN's discussion on CU.

I loved reading that article. I was at the game with a group of friends and at some point after the beer can was thrown, one of them yelled "Only a Harvard fan would throw a full can of beer!". There was an epic Nor'easter in Boston that night and we managed to get up to Dartmouth the next day and saw them lose again. On the drive back to Ithaca on Sunday, someone hung a sign on the I-88 exit sign in Bainbridge (if memory serves me correctly) that said "Harvard Sucks and Dartmouth Swallows". That made us all feel better.

We got snowed in and couldn't make it to Hanover. However that was the trip where Anne and I became friends on my 20th birthday, so nothing but good memories.
