Dear Season Ticket Holder,
The men’s ice hockey team has moved on to the ECAC Championships in Lake Placid with a 2-0 victory over Quinnipiac on Saturday night!
As a game 3 was not necessary, we will be offering refunds for your game 3 tickets! Refunds will be available: Wednesday, March 14 through Friday, April 13, 2018. Ticket returns must be made in person at the Athletic Ticketing Office (103 Bartels Hall) between the hours of 10:00am and 5:00pm. Please bring your game 3 ticket(s) with you - we cannot process the refund without the physical ticket(s).
You will be refunded the discounted season ticket price you paid, which is $6 per ticket. We are required to process the refunds with the same payment method you used for the tickets, so please make sure you bring the same credit card you used for the purchase!
Any questions? Please let us know!

I've already replied with the obvious question of how out-of-towners should expect to handle this, and I'll post here once I have a reasonable answer.

I guess I view this as a "passive money grab" by Cornell... They make is a pain in the ass, figuring that most people won't pursue it.
Since the amount of money ($6) is minimal, I've always considered it a donation and not worried about it. YMMV

No problem at all to mail them – we just need the physical tickets. Thanks!
