This announcement appeared in the July / August issue of the Cornell Alumni Magazine:
Calling all Lynah Faithful!
Cornell University Press editor Michael McGandy ( mjm475@cornell.edu) has shared a request for photos, ephemera, and memorabilia associated with the Cornell men’s and women’s hockey teams. Jim Roberts, former CAM editor & publisher, has been researching and writing a book on the greatest Cornell hockey games, and McGandy is now looking for photos of historic games (going back to 1962) and materials associated with the great games, players, and coaches of the 1960s through 2010s. The book, which is due to be released in fall 2017, will feature 24 games as well as chapters on Lynah Rink, the Lynah Faithful, and the key rivalries with Boston University and Harvard University. Readers are welcome to contact McGandy directly with inquiries.
I'm also involved with this project. If you have material you'd like us to consider, please contact Michael McGandy, or me (am21@cornell.edu).
Thanks.
