ESPN3 games will be streamed here.

I don't see a stream site for the ESPNU games (like Yale/BU)

ILDN does not appear to have any streams, audio or video.

Harvard's station is WHRB.

Yale's station is WYBC. It is currently playing some unlistenable indy lo-fi pablum.

BU-Yale scoreless after 1.
BU had somewhat the better of the play, although Yale had a few good opportunities on BU turnovers.

Cornell should study the Yale ppg all summer. They moved the puck, they didn't mindlessly circle it, and they got a man in front to screen. Gorgeous. No reason we can't do that with guys like Hilbrich and Tschantz down low.

Yale 1 - BU 0 after 2. Strong period by Yale for first 14 minutes or so - then BU came on strong after Yale scored. Eichel is very, very good.

Boston College, the top seed in the Northeast Regional, is trailing Yale 1-0 after two periods.

Not a bad job by Yale but they just didn't have quite the offense or speed that was there in past years. BU's defenders looked kind of shaky in a number of instances.

I'll admit that it does feel a bit crummy to root against a team of college kids, but they'll all be on Wall Street soon enough. I'll never be truly happy until Cornell is back in the NCAAs, of course.

SCSU just tied MTU in closing minute. MTU player, under almost no duress, failed to gain the red line when shooting for an empty net. He missed... SCSU scored shortly after the resulting icing. On to overtime.

Having now seen the replay, geez! That's crushing. MTU bandies used to show up randomly all over the place—the Frozen Four, WCHA Final Five when they weren't even in it... you get the idea. That fanbase is the definition of diehard, and it's been wonderful to see them get the chance to be happy again. What a tough way for their first season back from obscurity to end.

Yet, looks like they've built something out there. Not a senior-dominated team, and their goalie's a junior. I bet they'll be back.

Pearson was a longtime assistant to Berenson. The efforts of Jamie Russell notwithstanding, considering what Pearson started with, he must be one helluva coach and recruiter.

The one-two punch of the GTG setup by the bonehead icing and the winner was just brutal.

I was about to jump all over their press release in my Facebook feed claiming it's the first time #16 has beaten #1, but apparently it's true since Holy Cross in 2006 and RIT in 2010 were #15s. (I assume Bemidji State in 2009 as well but I didn't check that one since it has bad associations.)

Yes, and when I saw that PC player heading toward an ENG, I couldn't help but flash back to Randy Wilson & wonder why the current PC player didn't skate the puck right to the net (instead of shooting from a ways out). Apparently, he's not read the PC hockey history books....

There were actually three winners with less than 3 goals if you disregard empty net goals. UNO-Harvard and Providence-Denver were each 2-1 plus two empty net goals. Nevertheless, we need a lot more scoring.

bu-minn was 2-2
rit - neb was 1-0 until very late
neb-harv was 2-1
prov -den was 2-1

half the games were 2 or less with under 5 to go..

RIT would have gotten to the final 4 with 2 goals a game had they gotten to 2.

yeah we need to score more to get in, but style has shown if we get in 2-3 is all you need to advance most of the time

There was a possibility of having 3 of the 4 teams in Boston be Boston teams (Beanpot II). I was cheering for them all to get shut-out, because that would have been rich. In the end, we're left with the least distasteful (to me) one.

RIT, reminiscent of 2010 over Denver in Albany!

And I had it in my head that Yale was a #16 in 2013, because Niagara had been highly ranked that year. Looking it up, I see Canisius won the AHA tournament and was the #16, giving that league 2 teams in the NCAAs.

Harvard takes 2 penalties in the final 6:30 to ensure their loss. 21 years since their last tourny win.

"One-and-Done U." (Quite pleased I haven't had to use that in a while, but I haven't forgotten)

There was a possibility of having 3 of the 4 teams in Boston be Boston teams (Beanpot II). I was cheering for them all to get shut-out, because that would have been rich. In the end, we're left with the least distasteful (to me) one.

Except for anyone who wants to sell their tickets, it's a good deal. The NCAA exchange doesn't have any in our section, but even those on the ends are $350-$500, and ours at StubHub are $450. These are for All-Session tickets. Not a bad markup.

Providence counts as an honorary Boston team going by the sheer loathsomeness of the locals.

I'll be rooting for the Sioux on the principle of "least recruiting overlap."

Ugh. Screw Ralph Engelstad and screw Worst Dakota. I'd root for most diseases over ND.

I'm going for UNO on the grounds of it being the least obnoxious. It's a lesser of evils thing.

If BU or Providence can win it all, the East will have 4 straight champions for the first time ever. The West's record streak is 12, ended by Cornell in 1967.

Looks like the format for 2017 stays the same.

Things I did not know (but should have guessed): someone combined the Holy Cross Homer Call audio with the ESPN video: [www.youtube.com]
