What are your expectations - Men

Polls do not necessarily capture what each of us expects from the team. So here is the question, What performance metrics would lead you to say "I am satisfied with the teams performance" this year?

Here is my list:

1. Beat Sucks (It hardly needs to be said)
2. Make Lake Placid
3. League average Penalty Minutes
4. Increase Goals Per Game by 0.5

Satisfied:

1. Make Lake Placid
2. Get a bye
3. Get at least 4 points from the 6 RS games with the other top 4
4. Increase goals margin in ECAC RS to at least +11 (last year +1)

Thrilled:

1. Win an NCAA game
2. Get to the Lake Placid Final
3. Get a bye
4. Get at least 7 points from the 6 RS games with the other top 4
5. Increase goals margin in ECAC RS to at least +22

Silence is deafening

Don't look at me.

My bar is pretty simple.

Make the NCAAs and it's a good year. Fall short, and it's not a good year. I guess make Lake Placid is the bar for not-a-bad year. But that doesn't leave much room in the middle.

I don't pretend to have expectations. I know what I want out of a season like this, when we know we don't have a powerhouse: in position for an at-large heading into the tournament or a miracle run through the ECACs to qualify.

If we're a fringe at-large team and honk a game in the tournament it will suck but won't make the season a failure.
