Perhaps this is a silly question, but there might be someone out there with a quixotic opinion that they can't express via this poll, so - why did you include "the promised land" as an option in the women's poll but not the men's?

Assuming that we all understand the "Promised Land" as an NCAA title, I tried to keep the choices within a "reasonable range". It is clearly a judgement call. I think the promised land is within the reasonable range for the women but not the men.

I will be posting a seperate topic later re "What are your critera for a successful season"

Also, there's no option for "2nd Round ECAC playoff." 1st Round BYE simply means finish 1-4 in the regular season. If somebody thinks they'll finish 5-12, and make it to round 2 but lose that series, there's no choice.

It's now in the team's best interest not to do that, is all I'm saying. :-}

We need this guy, if we're going to go far. Ryan is one of USCHO's defensemen to watch.

Here's Ken Schott's Cornell preview.

Some schools, some sports, that would be "No arrests, no harassment charges, no academic discipline."

I'm going to assume you are kidding. How could we know if we'd be playing RPI in the first round?

Actually, the preseason media poll picks us fourth. That's what the ranking of the teams is based upon at the end of the article.. One of the USCHO writers (Nate Owen) picks us to finish 5th and one (Brian Sullivan) picks us to finish 4th.
