College Hockey Gameday at Lynah Rink

The Everything College Hockey Youtube channel filmed a "Game Day" at Lynah on the day of the Harvard game. Despite knowing what the unfortunate game outcome will be, there's lots of fun behind-the-scenes footage from the morning skate, locker room, coaching and training areas, etc (and a brief interview with the AD):

Good stuff. Did you all know Shane had had hip surgery? Also, Rayhill has literally never played a minute. His comments were good and he was fairly articulate. Unusual for a player to stick around for three years and never play. Wonder what the plan is, if any.

That’s one. Of course Micha was never allowed to be the team spokesman for a 20 minute vlog.

His younger brother, Eddie, is a long stick midfielder at Cornell and was a prep school All-American. Both his parents were dual-sport athletes at the collegiate level, Bowdoin and Dartmouth. Not too much pressure on him. He probably could have been a starter at Middlebury, Colby, Amherst . . .

IINM Micha was a favor to a donor, like John Hughes' son was a favor to his dad. It happens -- it's good to have practice depth and with no scholarships it doesn't matter. You can probably have 67 guys if you want.arugula
