ECACs 2022 tournament

* ECACs 2022 semifinals, final: Friday, Saturday March 18-19, Lake Placid. Top seed plays lowest surviving seed. No third place games. 4:00 & 7:30; 7:30 Saturday.
* Quarterfinal: Friday-Sunday, March 11-13: at higher seeds, best of 3. #1 seed places worst survivng seed, etcetera
* First round: Friday-Sunday, March 4-6: 5-8 seeds host 9-12, best of 3. 1-4 seeds get byes.

I believe this is how it works for 2022, including reseeding before the quarterfinals and the championship weekend. Top seed typically gets to play the early game Friday in Lake Placid. The biggest question is whether the Olympic Arena, remodeled with boards set to 200x85 and an electric Zamboni, will cap attendance. Full attendance is 7,700. Tickets are $40 one day / $60 both, yut and seniors $5/$10 less.

If we get that far, I'll do an update on hotels and pubs. (We have a summer place 20 minutes outside in Keene.) The downtown is no longer torn up for new water and sewer lines. The former North Woods on the main drag, 5 minutes from the rink, really nice, is coming back as the Grand Adirondack Hotel but the fall 2021 reopening didn't happen. So maybe not 2022, and it won't be cheap. There's plenty of other places plus AirBnB although LP like a lot of other towns limits AirBnB.
