FYI, tickets for the January tournament in Las Vegas are on sale. According to the webpage, the Cornell section is sections 6 thru 8.
I just got lower bowl general admission tix for both days for $50 + fees. Those are for the ends of the rink. Considering the nearest school is 2000 miles away, I really don't expect there'll be any issue just sitting in the CU section.

Agree, especially since one of our sections, 8, is in the GA category. If any bandies show up, I suspect that's where they get put.
