OK...IF IF IF IF we make it...
Have people here started getting their tickets to the ECAC Championships in Albany yet? If so, what sections in the arena would you recommend that we sit in? Or are people planning on waiting until we qualify with a seeding and know where the Cornell section will be?
Please let me know what you guys think...I was in Placid last year and I think we may have ended up in the Cornell section by pure chance, but I just wanted to know what other people planned on doing. Thanks!

I was planning on waiting until the Cornell section is defined, and buying them through Cornell...
...but in a related question, we won't know that we're there for sure until March 15th/16th... and, if it's the 15th, then I'll be heading home for Spring break on the 16th, before the ticket office open on Monday (unless they open special on Sunday). Seeing as the ticket sales will be over spring break, do you know how the ticket office plans on handling them? Will they be answering the phone and shipping/will call-ing them?
Of course, if it takes 'til Sunday night, I'll stick around 'til Monday morning and pick 'em up before I go - but that would require losing a game, and we're a perfect 6-0 at Lynah in the playoffs whle I've been here, so I don't wanna see that.

My guess is that the ticket office will find the most complicated, cumbersome, and generally unfair way to distribute tickets.

Would a current student explain how Cornell did student season tickets this year and in recent seasons? I was within the unfortunate mob scene that developed behind Schoelkopf in the fall of 1991 which resulted in the "line number checks" and the "Lynah slumber party" of 1992.

I purchased my tickets already, but don't have a clue where the Cornell block is or will be. I had a chance to get four tickets 7 rows up on the blue line.. Can't ask for better than that?. Although I think we are a lock, since I live in the area, I would go even if Cornell was not in just to see some good play-off hockey. Although it's not Lynah, the Pepsi Arena is fan friendly with lot's of good seats. The ticket office has not yet mailed the tickets for those of us who have already bought them.

It probably doesn't matter where the actual Cornell section is located. In the tournament/away games that I've gone to, I've probably sat in my actual "assigned seat" maybe once. Just scout the place out when you get there and I'm sure you'll be satisfied.
