Just to get all nitpicky, my vote would go to "revisit this question in 2-3 seasons".

If we're gonna get nitpicky, mine would bee why is this an issue still awaiting resolution. Not only do we watch bad hockey, we watch bad boring hockey. If we had the same record and were scoring more than 2 GPG at least I'd be entertained. But the current situation is basically asking me to support watching a college version of the New Jersey Devils. So I say goodbye and good riddanceDafatone

As I keep saying, it's easy to mistake average or slightly below average hockey for bad hockey.
We have not yet reached bad*. Boring, perhaps, but not bad.
*yesterday may have been bad.

What's frustrating is that there have been times (i.e., the last two periods and OT at Brown) where we played uptempo (for us) hockey that was quite entertaining. The problem is that those times have been too few and far between.

This is the third season that I have run some version of this poll. Previous seasons:
March 2014
N=123
Stay=96,78%
Go=9, 7%
Unsure=18,15%
March 2013
N=94
Stay=87,93%
Go=7,7%
If the results continue as they have so far, I think it is safe to say, that at least for this population, there has been a change in attitude about the Coach.

I believe his contract is up after next season anyway? Can anyone confirm?

According to this article from Nov./Dec. 2012, his contract expires in 2016.

Because that was what I meant. I've said his contract was up in 2016 about 10 separate times on this forum.Kyle Rose
I like how you edited that after Icy responded. LOL.BearLover

Here is one occasion, in the last iteration of this thread: [elf.elynah.com]

His contract expires in 2016.
I like how you always appear to be very angry.

Tough year, but let's all remember what really matters.
Have a great summer (Matt Harvey!); see you all in October.

So to summarize so far
About 1/4 of the respondents are not interested in a change.
About 1/3 would like to make a change
The balance are willing to stick it out at least another season but are willing to consider a change
One telling statistic is the N. To date we have only had 70 respondents vs 123 last year and 94 the prior year. The voting is still active but it looks like fewer people care any more, at least on this forum.
