Here's the list of all televised games that I've compiled for this weekend. As I confirm or find additional listings, I'll keep the list updated. If you have DirecTV, I've included channel numbers. Of course, if you have ESPN3, you can stream all of them live.

Just glanced at that other, less important tournament to see that by going on Friday, we're up against some of those games. Should we beat Michigan, Saturday has much less competition for sports bar TVs.

ESPNU should be easier to find on the home tv than the regional sports networks. Hopefully, people won't be at the mercy of hockey-hating bartenders.
Having ESPN3 as a backup is great for those of us who have access to it. I remember most of the first period of the 2005 first-round game against Ohio State was radio only for fans not in Minneapolis because Harvard didn't have the good manners to lose the earlier scheduled televised game in regulation. The channel that was scheduled to show the entire Cornell-tOSU game was airing the overtime period of the Harvard-UNH game.

Denver-Ferris State on Altitude has been confirmed. NESN is picking up BU-Minnesota and that's been confirmed, so the only iffy live broadcast is Maine-Duluth, which is on Fox Sports Net North+, an overflow RSN channel. It shows up in the guide, but no programming has appeared yet.

Anybody tried streaming ESPN content via ESPN3 (or whatever they're calling it now?) According to their website I should have free access as a result of my internet provider. Wondering what the stream quality might be.

Usually it is very good. It really is a function of how fast your internet connection is at the time. If your connection is fast you'll hardly be able to tell a difference between the stream and the TV. Therefore I recommend using a hard wired connection. But tangent ending, no this is not RedCast.KeithK

I've watched ESPN3 many times: the quality is top-notch as internet streaming goes as long as you have enough bandwidth.KeithK

I've noticed that when you first turn it on, the quality isn't the greatest and it's kind of blocky. But after a minute or two, it looks great as long as you have a good internet connection.

On a PC screen, it looks about as good as standard-def TV. You see this or RPI TV and you wonder about the underlying value of a big TV network 5+ years out.

NBA squeakball is on now (Wed), and they have some events available on replay, so you can give a test run with your bandwith options. I watched quite a bit of the World Cup (men's and women's) on ESPN3 and it was quite good. No complaints from me .

No live events by the time I got home. There's a replay of some NC$$ softball game available on replay, which looks pretty good so far. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I may be using the strram on Friday so I wanted to make sure it was reasonable.

Looks like this is the final list. Changed the FSNOR+ channel number and it finally showed up in the guide under channels I receive, so they should all be viewable to folks with the DTV Sports Pack.

I like ESPN3, but perhaps next year they could get more than one sponsor to run commercials?

If Miami scores another goal, we're all going to like ESPN3.
