This doesn't include any USHL or National Team players, nor does it include any college freshmen. I wouldn't be surprised to see 1-2 more names on the list when those are added (Joakim Ryan for one).

ORZETTI, CHARLES NEW JERSEY HITMEN 28-Feb-1992 6' 3.25" 208 lbs. * C;LW L YALE (2012)
Hitmen? Now that has the potential for a team mascot worthy of offending someone. Fuggedaboutit.

This article says that Hudon might be the highest drafted high school player in this draft, which if true almost certainly means a early-to-mid first round draft spot. If so, it seems pretty likely he'll end up at Cornell next year, not 2012 as Big Red Puckhead currently lists him (the article also says he'll be at CU in 2011).

Surprisingly more likely to offend than even the XFL's incarnation of the New Jersey Hitmen:

Probably less so than the New Jersey Informants, though.Jordan 04

They should have gone with "Stoolies." Fits headlines better.

Being the pessimist that I am when it comes to my teams, I had the same thought (but didn't want to say it). Getting such a highly-ranked guy certainly is a double-edged sword these days (see, D'Amico, Jerry; and LeBlanc, Louis).

Comes with the territory. Enjoy them while they're here, then wish them well.

BRP also reports that Stephan Miller was rated B-, which translates to being drafted in rounds 3-4 or thereabouts. This is pretty good since BRP also has two Stephan Millers signed up for 2012.
I believe he lists Miller twice because he's playing for a Junior team (New Hampshire) before playing for his Prep team (Nobles).

My '99 son played for the peewee Hitmen summer AAA tourney team. And yes they wore a jersey with that logo. 11 year olds. Truly ugly but some of the people behind the program are really good, they're sending a lot of kids to ECAC and Hockey East teams from their junior squad.

"He is a classic power forward who takes a straight line to the net or to the puck in the corners," Eggleston said. "He has good size and strength, hits hard, plays the body in all zones and is an aggressive forechecker. Has some grit to his game, and plays with an edge. He has very good hands and possesses a hard and heavy shot with quick release."
Seems like a good fit when you think of the most successful Schafer-era forwards.

"Plays with an edge" is as classic hockey cliche, but it's not clear to me what this means exactly.

It means he's the David Eckstein of hockey. He has grit and passion (grission). Or it means the writer's lazy.imafrshmn
