Looking forward to an early-November road trip to St. Lawrence and Clarkson for a change! But when I started looking a couple of weeks ago, there were no hotel rooms left along the Canton-Potsdam trail. We've got a reservation in Massena, but if any of you have a just-in-case reservation in Canton you won't be using, I'd love to take it off your hands!

Sue tells me the ticket office has tickets for both games that they'll be sending back on Wednesday or Thursday, so I'm going to grab a couple.

It looks like I may not make SLU. If not, anyone want to throw Snickers? I hope to get to Clarkson, but I'm not even sure of that.

I'll try to pick some up on our way out of town.

Where? As of 6:30 pm Monday 11/1 my local grocery store was all decked out for Christmas (excuse me, La Navidad)! cuss

It is just as bad after Easter when I try to find (and buy) the surplus of Cadbury Creme Eggs; stores these days just take it all away and start cramming the next holiday in your face.

There is never a surplus of creme eggs. This year it was still a few weeks before Easter and I had to hit up half a dozen stores before I found any.

That might explain why they got so expensive (about $3 for a pack of 3 IIRC). Good to know I'm not the only one out there that loves Cadbury creme eggs :-P.

If any ol' candy would do, I have loads left from the weekend. I got a total of five trick-or-treaters. But the roving Faithful deserve Snickers. :-)

Not a nickel, and not free, but $4 bags on sale for $2 isn't bad!
