Age, I'm disappointed that I didn't get this new via the twitter update. I heard about B. Nash (and Scrivens) being named All-Americans from this guy Josh in a bar in Detroit .
Anyways, congrats to B.Nash and Scrivens. We did toast their accomplishments, did we not? If not, we will do so tomorrow.
ps. I want my crow covered in cheese and served with a guinness or Arcadia Porter.

Of the 24 honorees, none from the East are in the final four; two from Wisconsin and one from Miami. Although as the release notes, 17 made it to the NCAA tournament. Not sure if Sean Backman counted.

Brendon Nash: 2G 17A 19P
Also, recall that Justin Krueger was named the best defensive defenseman in the ECAC.
Congratulations to Ben and Brendon. It'll be great to see some more All-American awards lining the halls of Lynah.
At the same time, it makes you wonder what kind of damage this team might have been able to do in the NCAA tournament, with two first-team All Americans, a first-round NHL draft pick, the top defensive defenseman in the ECAC, and Colin Greening.

FWIW, we do play fewer games. Ratio the stats up assuming the same scoring pace, and it does look more equivalent.

I'm a little confused as to why the hypothetical "might have been" wondering - I mean, the team was in the NCAA tournament and we saw what they did.ebilmes

Amended my post with your thoughts. Even with an extra 3-6 games under his belt, Nash still is far off the pace of nearly everyone else. Consider Matt Shreiber from Union who finished 8+21 and a +25 on the season.
