How hot was it inside the rink at Friday's game? For tonight's game, would you say Cornell T-shirt or Cornell sweatshirt would be more appropriate?

I took off my Cornell uni for the 2nd game and was comfortable in short sleeves.
Then again, I have a little more insulation than most.

But, coming out of hibernation this time of year, you should be not quite so well "insulated."Jeff Hopkins '82

Jeff, whatever you don't, don't be part of a lipstick-on-bare-chest C-O-R-N-E-L-L bloc. Same goes for me.
I've decided: Cornell tee under Cornell sweatshirt.

Either it was a bit hotter than it should have been or the Times Union Center didn't pay its refrigeration bill. There was a horrible amount of water on the ice at the beginning of the 2nd and 3rd periods for both games. The refs skated around a bit in confusion and then started the periods water or not.

Hahaha! As somebody who has done both... "Bring baby" is far, far more doable and pleasant than "Bring toddler".

I've done both as well, both are easier than "Bring teenager who doesn't want to come". But of course you can leave that one home alone.CKinsland

Urk. Mine are not quite "leave them home alone", but beyond "cute toddler that strangers tolerate". Solidly in "annoying tweener". I take them to a lot of sporting events, but not "sit in your seat, don't kick the people in front of us" hockey games. Hockey is definitely babysitter territory.

Brought baby to Princeton football game. Princeton scores en route to beating the Big Red (I guess second half of sentence was unneeded). Princeton band-ie fires stadium cannon about 50 feet away from sleeping baby. Bâby awakes suddenly, does not enjoy rest of game.CKinsland

My baby can sleep through a cannon going off (live near a Navy yard), but the floor creaks at 3am? Wide awake!

We were fortunate in having a child who could sleep through anything. As a toddler she slept through Lynah. When she was older she often fell asleep in a chair in our living room. When we had the kitchen and dinning room remodeled, she slept through all the construction, saws, drills, nail guns and the rest. So I guess we're not the model of bringing a kid to a game. Heaven help her if, when she gets to college she has an early class.Sperris

Just a climate-related FYI for those going to Albany tomorrow: the temperature is supposed to drop all the way down to 10 degrees at night, so bring warm stuff for the walk to and from the TUC

Just arrived in Albany from Syracuse. Snow on the cars and on the grass. None on the roads. But the temp is in the low 30's.

Heh. We've been in Albany since last night, but have not left the hotel or looked outside, so I learned that it snowed here last night by reading this post.
