Honestly, that's about the worst-written piece of *ahem* "journalism" I've suffered through in a while, but it talks about Derek Punches and some other Cornell players and some other random crap and... jebus, I don't know what the point of it was. But someone might be interested in reading it. Til you read it. Then you'll probably feel differently.

They also spelled Schafer wrong for the entire article.

It was a brain dump and he didn't read it back through?

Spoken like a true NHL player — certainly like a true Boston Bruin.
Our top prospects don't speak when they're angry. They
throw milk crates.

He doesn't even give a shout out to Parris Duffus. Thanks for finding this Tim! I think a cross post is in order as I'm sure many have never seen these brackets before.

Terrible, especially saying Riley was Third Team ECAC and All-Ivy, presumably meaning First Team. Just a little backwards, but you know I'm sensitive about that.

What? That was terrible. Who is Zeise? Was this supposed to be a notebook where a bunch of short stories were put together? Even if it was, I'm not sure it makes sense. I think I just lost 10 IQ points.

That was quite the video.
I can understand the goalie being upset about the first penalty shot not being disallowed. But on the one that he claims hit the crossbar, how could he know? I mean, sure, he heard it, but how does he know it didn't ring off the crossbar, hit the inside of the net, and bounce out? It takes chutzpah to argue about something that everyone knows happened behind your back.

I'd argue too, the ref blew it on the first one; why think he knows what he's doing on the second.andyw2100ftyuv

I'm not sure a guy named "Tuukka Rask" has "chutzpah"

Well since we're in Grand Rapids, maybe. At least the arguments won't have to be made at the Mariucci.

At least this is college hockey, so there's no dopey shootout. (Or as in the case of Princeton-SLU, it doesn't count for anything but the third-place trophy.)

Except that Sean Avery isn't appreciably bigger than Punches (5'10", 195) and is merely thrown in because people know who he is and what his playing style is like.
If his parents had a real sense of humor, the Manchester, Mich., native wouldn't be just 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weigh 179 pounds.
Punches would be Milan Lucic, Sean Avery or Georges Laraque.
Also, I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty sure parents can't choose how tall their children are going to be.

There are at least 30 jokes that could be made here...
