I didn't quite catch all of them, but several players are out -- at least Scali and one of the Kennedys.

I didn't quite catch all of them, but several players are out -- at least Scali and one of the Kennedys.

Both Kennedys are out along with Scali. Brandon Thomas believes the Kennedy brothers are injured (Patrick obviously dinged up in the North Country last weekend, and Mike was apparently in street clothes for practice this week) while Scali may just be a healthy scratch. Here are lines from his IJ blog:

15 Greening - 14 R. Nash - 20 Barlow
17 Kary - 9 Roeszler - 8 Jillson
12 Collins - 27 Gallagher - 22 J. Devin
23 Punches - 21 Mugford - 29 Nicholls

4 Ross - 3 Seminoff
24 B. Nash - 2 M. Devin
7 Ta. Davenport - 5 Krueger

30 Scrivens .. 35 Garman ... 1 Tr. Davenport

Also, scratches worth noting for Quinnipiac include: Lampe (10g, 10a), Wong (7g, 11a), and Liimatainen who's key on the blue line for them. Their freshman netminder Dan Clarke will be starting with Bud Fisher backing him up.

We're getting great set ups from the first pp unit. The Kary-Roeszler-Jillson combo is really ragged. Scrivens' save on the breakway is the defining moment of the game so far.

Luckily this season can't crater there this year. It's still early, everyone else but PU has a loss. Columbia leads at the Palestra. Just makes tomorrow all the more important. Win tomorrow, make it a two horse race. Take care of business in Ithaca.

Yeah, if there's any consolation, it's better to get this trip over at this point in the season; I still cringe thinking about the 85-86 season where we were 11-3 heading to the P's, and lost both (including a shellacking at the Palestra) to lose the title to Brown.

Scrivens made a nice save anticipating a pass. The problem is though, when we play a better team in the NCAA, they're not going to make a simple and predictable pass like that

3PT- 2-17 (11.2%)
FT- 11-14 (78.7%)
TO- 14
