The only ECAC team playing this week is Clarkson, who dropped the first game at Bowling Green 4-1. They play again tonight.
Of note, Cornell alumnus Shaun Hannah '94 took his giant-killing Sacred Heart team into Colorado Springs and tied #9 Colorado College 2-2. Those two also play again tonight. CC is ranked 9/10 in the polls to Cornell's 10/9.
North Dakota took care of the US U-18 team 5-2. The U-18s had beaten Michigan State on Tuesday 4-2.

Saturday's action saw some poor results for my rooting interests:
Bowling Green completed the home sweep of Clarkson, 3-1 with 2 third period goals after CCT tied it in the 2nd with a SHG. Clarkson went 0-9 on the PP while BGU went 1-10 thanks to a 5x3. Usually I'm used to a slow Clarkson start, but a 2-10-4 record is just stunning given the expectations. Their next game is vs. #2 Miami in the Ohio Hockey Classic after the New Year.
Sacred Heart's surprising tie from Friday was dismantled as a fluke with a 7-0 Colorado College win.
Jamie Russell's Michigan Tech completed a sweep of Northern Michigan, 1-0 after a 2-1 result last night. That's a Cornell-influenced set of scores if I've ever seen one.
