My columns in the Sun this year obviously have a wider audience than the 'E-Lynah Faithful,' but I'll post them all the same. "Singing Lynah's Praises" was the title the editors gave the piece; I still prefer my title.

That was some of the densest language I've ever read in the Sun, but I understood its intent and enjoyed the way it reminded me of that first blush of hockey excitement. In fact, it made me smile so much that I won't even mention the several split infinitives or your misspelling of "vocal cords."
Whoops...!
Whoops...!

Thanks Beeeej, and despite my fragrant and seemingly careless disregard for all norms of Diana Hacker's manual on writing, I'm glad you found a way to enjoy the purpose of the article. Your comments remind me of something I read a while back...

I figured you might like the Steve Worona shout out though.

Love it. Naturally, for me, it's extra meta-funny because the article itself is rife with grammatical errors - but errors that are subtle enough that only the people they're insulting are likely to spot them.
I figured you might like the Steve Worona shout out though.
Oh, totally. I'll bet Steve will, too.
