Soooo, now this Harvard game is being televised, has anyone talked to Ship of Fools in NYC to see if they are showing it Friday night?

And, why would anyone be in NYC when Cornell is playing Harvard in Albany? Plane, trains, & automobiles make a NYC to Albany trip easy. And, please don't tell us about work, school, family or other (seeming) obligations.

Well why even live in New York City then, if we could all move back to Ithaca and watch every game? I travel to see hockey when it is in Ft. Myers Florida, not Albany.

There wouldn't be enough seats in Lynah if we all moved back to Ithaca.Other Rockey

I haven't been to the Florida tourney, but I bet the hockey experience is better in Albany (post-season games, flood of hockey fans and students) than in it is in Florida. Plus it's marginally easier to get from NYC to Albany than Florida.
But if you're basing your hockey road trip decisions purely based on destination then I guess I can't argue. Not because Florida is in any way special - don't really like the place myself. But Albany... 'nuff said.

Since you Rockey's are hogging seats I'm sitting on someone's lap. Until then, I expect to watch this game and get drunk somewhere in the vicinity of Manhattan.

But there's nothing like leaving a hockey game in late December at 10 PM, instinctively bracing for the outdoors and being hit by a rush of... 80 degree humid air and the sight of lit up palm trees. It's surreal to say the least.

Not to mention all the lovely outlet shopping and dining across the way.

I called Ship of Fools and they said they would turn some TVs off march madness to the game at 7pm tomorrow. Their address is:
1590 2nd Ave
New York, NY 10028
(212) 570-2651
This is second ave inbetween 83rd and 82nd.
So is you can't make it to Albany, I will see you there!

I'll probably see you there about 8:30. I trust you'll be wearing CU stuff?
