I might be going insane, but I think the USCHO website now comes with unrelated radio announcements for things as diverse as the LA auto show and flood insurance.
Also, I think that website does a poor job of updating stats, and an even poorer jobs providing game summaries. Is there someone who generally writes the Cornell game reports? I often feel like Lynah games never come with a recap.
Are they hiring?
EDIT:
Despite that, USCHO still remains better than InsideCollegeHockey, which, despite my brief employment, remains pretty crummy.

You can always subscribe to USCHO Extra and not get the ads.
As to the game reporters, I don't think that they are paid.

I think they got sick of us e-mailing them to correct their various spellings of "Schafer."

You see ads? Get Firefox and the Adblock extension. I don't see any ads on that site. Adblock makes the web usable once again.

My feeling is just the opposite. On stats, at least, they get the box scores up fast and the team and league stats pages and standings update automatically.LaJollaRed

I think USCHO is great, personally. This may just be a perspective coming from a time when there was nothing but sketchy, errant box scores in the next day's Globe and utter silence out of the north country.

I read USCHO occasionally, but I always go to collegehockeystats.net to check stats and scores. This site has no advertising and loads quickly. The site usually posts final scores within about 20 minutes. For some reason, however, the Cornell scores almost always take at least 30 minutes to post. I also like the drop-down menus that allow you to filter by conference, standings, upcoming games, and so forth. The only downside is that the site doesn't provide game summaries.
Out here in the hockey hinterlands of Kansas (the natives don't know what to make of my Cornell hockey gear), I rely on ELynah for game threads and analysis (the analysis is far more informed on ELynah than anything you can find on USCHO, by the way). I usually read the game summary on the Cornell Web site the morning following the game.

I kinda split my time between uscho and collegehockeynews. The comparison link on chn is fairly cool (when looking at schedules). It breaks down record, pp/pk %, injuries and stuff like that for each team. The short weekend roundups can be good too, but they don't have them for every game so don't count on reading too much Cornell stuff there.
