mid way through the 1st BU at BC 0-0, and it is foggy at Conte. How foggy is it, you might be asking? Foggy enough to delay the game with just over 9 minutes in the 1st.
Actually they just called the game. The players are doing the end of the game handshake. Game to be made up at a later date.

I think hockey in the fog would be fun.

I watched a hockey game in the fog once at Princeton. Let's just say it wasn't fun for the Tigers
5-2 Cornell as I recall.

Dude, I told you to lay off the pre-game Vicodin.

I just spent 5 hours on the road to get here for the game. Once again, Scott Hansen finds a way to screw me over.

CC up 1-0, second period just starting.
FYI.. Sunday at 3 pm get a look at UNH (Vermont v. UNH) before the Everblades tourney. UNH scored 2 SHGs the other night v. Merrimack. Like our PP doesn't have enough things to worry about .

I was at the BU BC game, and it really was quite foggy. It was a decent game till then. BU had just killed off a 3 on 5 PK, though I didn't see the second penalty because it was on the far side of the ice and in the fog. I got some nasty looks for yelling out "RED!" at the anthem, and when BC started yelling "safety school" at BU, I couldn't help but yell "safety school" at both of them. I'm an asshole, what can you do.
Anyway, don't know what was wrong with the ice but it looked kinda bad. I hope they get it fixed before they have to redo the ice altogether.

I was at the BU-BC game too. The second penalty was a 5-min major/game misconduct for hitting from behind WAY too close to the boards. It was a stupid (especially down a man already), dangerous hit, and I wonder how the postponement affects the penalty for the misconduct.
Anyway, it was a pretty good ten minutes. BC got screwed on some calls early, and it was getting chippy between the teams and the action was pretty wide open until the 2-man advantage. The ice was just really screwed up. It was pretty warm in Conte last night, which probably had something to do with it.
And I thought about yelling "Red!" as well, but I think my girlfriend would have punched me. I can't wait to drag her to the Sucks game in February...

Western Michigan defeated Michigan 6-3 in Ann Arbor. WMU had an ENG and their fifth was scored with 2:40 to play in the third so it was closer than it sounds.
