Vermont 3 Colgate 0 late in the 1st period. I guess Colgate is picking up where it left off last year with its OOC games.rolleyes

So much for Colgate's high hopes. They got schooled by Vermont 6-0. twitch

In case folks didn't catch this on USCHO, there is a website designed to help folks figure out what games are on TV:

The goofs picked up where the left off... a goal 21 seconds in helps Maine win 3-1.

Miami opened the new building in style beating Denver 5-2.
CCT beat Niagara 7-3
The Q is getting dominated 6-1 by the UND Disputed Nicknames
Of course Colgate put up a stinker 6-0 against UVM. I know it's beyond early, but they really need a win tomorrow against Denver to help the ECAC.

EDIT: Union comes up big with a shut out win at Ferris. FSU may not be a great team this year, but any Union OOC win is a big deal. Oddly, Tim Kotyra was the ref. Apparently it got chippy at the end:

UNI-8 Torren Delforte (2-UNSPORTSMANLIKE - DIVING) 10:42
	 FSU-10 J.T. Dahlinger (2-Hooking) 10:42
	 UNI-9 Andrew Estey (2-Charging) FSU 0x7 18:13
	 UNI-10 Jake Schwan (2-Clipping) FSU 0x8 18:34
	 UNI-11 Brendan Milnamow (2-Cross-Checking) 19:07
	 Timeout - Ferris State 19:07
	 UNI-12 Lane Caffaro (5-Fighting) 19:51
	 UNI-13 Lane Caffaro (10-Game Disqualification) 19:51
	 FSU-11 Brendan Connolly (2-FACE-OFF VIOLATION) 19:51
	 FSU-12 Brendan Connolly (5-Fighting) 19:51
	 FSU-13 Brendan Connolly (10-Game Disqualification) 19:51

hey guys, just got back from the Tech v. RIT game... ithacat is right... RIT will not be an easy out for anyone. they have a very aggressive penalty kill and their goalie stands on his head all game.

Scary thing is that Guimond didn't play. Menard played (think he was hurt last year). Despite how good Guimond was last year, some RIT fans think Menard played well enough in the preseason to earn some time -- guess he did. RIT has two solid goalies to build on.

Listening to the radio broadcast it sounded like Leggio played pretty well, too.

he did. if he can play that well consistantly and on the road, he's easily the second bst goalie in the league. and he would be battling with Dekanich for number 1

I love the look of Clarkson this year. RIT's goalie was excellent, that game could've easily been 6 or 7 to 2 if not for him. Even with his excellent play, he caught a ton of breaks all the way through, which was the most exciting thing about the game for a Clarkson fan. That's the first game I can remember where we DIDN'T get any big breaks, the other team DID get them, and we won anyway. This season could be special.
