UHN 4 PC 0 Final

That result hurts us in the PWR. We move from 10th to 11th. Denver ties us with 22 comparisons and wins the tie breaker with a higher RPI. I don't think the BC-UVM game affects us.

BC/UVM is on CN8 in New England. Live feed at cn8.tv or just paste: mms://24.128.4.51/cn8ne-winmedia into windows media player.

Or on my local cable. :-)

That has to be the smallest playoff crowd I've ever seen for a major conference. Maybe this is normal for Thursday night playoff games in Hockey Least. But it looks like a dozen people or so in each section.

BC is on break.

BC is on break.

Break or no break, that crowd is poor.

BC wins...

I was at the BC-UVM game - weakest crowd I have EVER seen, including the emptiest I've seen Sucks rink.

Yeah the students were on break, but I don't think they broke 1000 (500 maybe?) and there were a few hundred UVM fans there. Pretty poor showing by whatever qualifies as the BC townie season ticket population. And you'd think that with all the alums in boston they'd have a better showing.

Facetimers, all, at that university. Place would've been full if it had been BU, break or not.

FWIW UVM would have won the game if they weren't playing scared the last 5-10 minutes of regulation. BC's experience showed big-time.

BC doesn't have a loyal student base for hockey. Most would choose to go to a basketball or football game instead, given the quality of those programs. Even so, BC fans for any sport are not good. An unenthusiastic "We are BC" is the one and only cheer that sticks in my mind from the football game I attended. Facetimers to the max.

Then again, I grew up as a BU fan, so maybe I'm slightly biased...

Even if BC is on break, a lot of fans probably live within an hour of campus, unless they're all down in Destin, Florida, or Key West.

I hope they don't do that for hockey. That's an awful chant and they'd be torn to pieces. I came up with:
"Why should we care?",
"Wow, you can spell", and
"We're so sorry"

All is about 10 seconds. And I'm not even one of the more creative types ;)

I wonder how 100,000+ people at Beaver Stadium (PSU) would respond to those retaliatory chants. :-P

I hope a "We are... Cornell" chant never starts. It's just so ridiculous sounding!

Well, not to mention that it's two of the top ten teams in the nation. Isn't Boston supposed to be College Hockeytown or something?
