I called cstv 1-866-259-8973 and vented to supervisor Scott Fanzo.
Got the "technical difficulties" line. I asked for a full month refund (factoring in no feed, even archived, for the brown game). He has no authority to issue refunds, but will get back to me on that later this week.

I asked what they were doing about the "technical difficulties" issue (for football and hockey) and he, of course had no response other than "they are working on it".
I suggested including the Cornell pre-game show... and that by broadcasting that it would give them ~ 30 minutes to troubleshoot technical issues BEFORE the game starts. I reminded him that these are LIVE events, stuff happens quickly, and it isn't right to charge for LIVE event and not have the feed available at game time.

While I was at it, I asked about an "all access hockey pass, for all schools". he said something should be available in about a month. I informed him that hockey season actually started ~ 4 weeks ago. I don't think he appreciated my "CSTV.... a day late a dollar short" line.

Guess I get to vent to CU athletics .. i sent them an email about cstv's subpar service, but have yet to receive a response. sounds like a monday morning phone call.


I hope others will call and complain to Scott Fanzo. That way he will know there are other cornell hockey fanatics out there.....

anyone listening to cstv's audio feed on a pc? i can get the audio on the mac in my office. however, my lab just has a pc and i can't get the hockey feed. I can get the archived football audio on the pc just fine, but just not the hockey game.

just wondering if it another one of those mac / pc quirks.
However, I did get the dartmouth radio feeed on that .. an it is better than nothing.

unfortunately, i have an experiment to set-up and cannot enjoy the video feed.....

What happens when you try on the PC? Plenty of people are listening on PCs, so it's not that. And Mac/PC quirks tend to screw Macs

It goes through the connection then says "ready" and nothing.
archived hockey and football games play fine. and in the past i have listened to cornell football live (the brown game).

anyways, i hope it comes out that the team ate bad chinese food or something that would explain this game. dartmouth-- ithaca is a long trip to be sitting on the bus in one's hockey gear.
