[OT] Cornell Daily Sun 125th anniversary banquet 9/17

For Larry, Molly, and other Sun alums on this forum: There's a 125th anniversary dinner celebration Saturday 9/17 in NYC at the Marriott Marquis. If you're thinking of going, sign up ASAP. It outstripped the Cornell Club's seatiing capacity and got moved to the Marriott Marquis. Now it's possible the ballroom may fill up. Kurt Vonnegut '44 will speak, along with Jeremy Schaap '91, and Pulitzer Prize winner Jay Branegan '72. There was no 100th anniversary celebration and not everyone's going to make it to 150. A somewhat more restrained celebration is in Ithaca the following week. see www.cornellsun.org.
