Don't really think this is a ticket exchange-type request, so I figured I'd post it here. Flame away if this is inappropriate. God bless the internet. demented

So, I'm looking for some student section season tickets for the few times a year I can show up at Lynah. The thought of spending another moment sitting (shudder) in section G irritates the hell out of me, so I figured I'd offer the following deal: if any current student not already teaming up with another buyer wants to stand next to me for 4-6 games a year, I'm willing to buy a season of student section tickets (both seats) on your line number, the remainder of which you get for no charge to use or to distribute as you will.

Contact me via email. krose@krose.org.

Cheers,
Kyle

Pretty soon there are going to be student community groups protesting you, Kyle.

Well, in principle I agree with you... but there are three differences: (a) in this case, I strongly suspect there aren't 1500 alums with good backs and knees willing to travel to Ithaca 3 times a year to stand for three hours at a time and scream; (b) 85% of the seats I'm willing to pay for will be filled by a current student; and (c) if the problem gets out of hand, the AD will simply make sure that tickets are used by current students.

But I agree that the better solution would be a distinction between standing/sitting in ticket issuance instead of student/non-student, so I could more easily get tickets in a standing section when I decide I have a free weekend. Maybe my modest proposal will get the AD's attention. :)
