Wow... huge Topher Scott fan, but surprised he made that list. Obviously they reward momentous goals, but let's be honest; several Cornell (let alone players nationally) players had better weekends. Even the goal in question was a product of a great play by his linemates. With that being said: Kill, Topher, kill!

I think it's just a nice nod to the little guy who comes up big. We probably shouldn't read too much into this, one way or the other.
