From Street and Smith's:

1. Yale
2. Harvard
3. Penn
4. Princeton
5. Brown
6. Dartmouth
7. Cornell
8. Columbia

Top Players:

Offense: Alvin Cowan, QB, Yale
Defense: Bobby Everett, LB, Harvard

On Cornell they say:

New coach Jim Knowles, 38, will have a major rebuilding job at Cornell as he takes over a team that didn't win a league game last season and has only five victories in three years.

Defense will likely be the initial focus of Knowles, who as an assistant here in 1988 helped the Big Red defense lead the league in that category. Knowles takes over a team that ranked last in scoring defense, giving up 30 points a game, and allowed a league-high 205 yards rushing per game.

D.J. Busch, who threw for 1320 yards last season, returns at QB and will get protection from first team all-league lineman Kevin Boothe, a 6-5, 308-lb NFL prospect.

Dear Greg

I am considering preparing and publishing a book on various league championship games. Do you have the officials for the March 15,1986 Cornell-Clarkson championship game. I am looking for them.
