Countdown timer to first game

I notice on the upper right corner of the forum page that Matt Moulson's 18-17--35 hasn't changed in a couple weeks. Maybe it should be replaced by a countdown timer until Cornell's first regular season game.

Right now we're at 183 days and counting.

Alternatively, one can use the Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen Turn 18 countdown clock and add 138 days and 19 hours. There are a few of them floating around. (The clocks, not the twins.)

I've gone looking for Olsen twins countdown calendars the way I've gone looking for underage women in underwear ads - every time you open up the Sunday magazine, or drive past a billboard, there it is. No need to search.

Funny, we've become so PC / gender-neutral / sexless in the workplace and everywhere else official -- and it's all undercut by fashion advertising and rap music. A generation ago, no seventh grader fancied the ho look.

So what you're saying is this is wrong, then? nut

You paedophile. She doesn't even look hot there, she looks like my little sister.

Dude, I didn't say I thought she was hot. I think it's a shame such a potentially funny joke was wasted on a 13-year-old.

I have no interest in the Olsen twins or Hillary Duff. Plenty of hot actresses around my age, like Salma Hayek and Rachel Weisz.

What John is trying to say is that he caught the 12 Noon first showing of Mean Girls on Friday when it opened and loved every minute of it. :-D

I would just open foot and insert mouth and move on from this topic. I've become immune to such advertising since I rarely hang out in places where kids are around (don't even try to twist these words), I just assume that the magazines I read, the movies you see on tv reach only, and in fact the people you see are only, of legal age. But I guess that's about as true as any college party on a Friday or Saturday night. I'll stop preaching on values. I'm taking applications - mid-20's - need not be good looking. If you think you're hot, you need not apply. B-]

Or how about listing the three leading scorers in the order of their expected 2004-05 finish? No matter how long it stays up, alas, Ryan Vesce is going to be stuck at 24 points in what could have been an All-America season. Exclude the first Princeton game and the poor guy had 17 points on the year. If only ...
