Today's game in Ithaca was postponed to Sunday. Was this related to the accident?

I think it was the fog.

When I arrived at about 2:30, from the track you could see the teams on the field warming up. From midway up the west stands I could make out players and lines on the part of the field closest to where I was standing. At the top of the stands, heads and shoulders were visible. It cleared a little bit over the next few minutes, but the game was postponed by then. If they had tried to play, it would not have been much of a lacrosse game.

From the athletics website:

March 27, 2004

ITHACA, N.Y. -- The Cornell men's lacrosse game with Yale has been postponed due to heavy fog in the Ithaca area. It will instead by played on Sunday, March 28 at noon on Schoellkopf Field. The game will be the Ivy opener for the Big Red (3-1), while Yale sports a perfect 4-0 record, including 1-0 in Ancient Eight play.

Hopefully this was publicized and people can head to the game today!

There was a nice little blurb on the Fox News out of Syracuse tonight about the team and their first game back since the loss of their co-captain. They showed clips of interviews with Tambroni and a D-man. Well done and well spoken.

I'll be back out to Schoellkopf next chance I get... so, that'll be Tuesday the 13th for the 'Cuse game!
