First, I'd like to extend a very big thanks to everyone who contributed in keeping eLynah alive. I'm always amazed at the generosity of the Lynah Faithful, and this was certainly no exception. Thank you very much to each and every one of you.

Thanks to all the familiar faces on the road. The Faithful (students, alums, and otherwise) who make doing the cowbell cheer in a hostile rink worthwhile. The players' parents who give as much of themselves as their kids, logging countless miles to places that no one in their right mind would consider a destination on any other night of the year, to support the team. They are always a friendly, welcome sight.

Thanks to Facetimer for keeping me on my toes and being a constant reminder of why I hate the Islanders and their fans. I can honestly say this place wouldn't have been the same without you around this year.

Lastly, and most importantly, thank you to the players for making the Ithaca winter something we actually look forward to. A classy, genuinely nice, friendly bunch of guys who we can cheer on unabashedly, with pride. Ryan, Ben, Greg, and Todd, you'll be missed.

I appreciate the nod Cowbell Guy, even if you are a stupid facetimer. It has been a fun year getting on all your nerves. I'd just like to say to everyone out there who is uptight about anything with the program, lighten up. It is college, but this is a profit making sport. So don't be afraid to criticize the officials, other teams, coaches and even the players. And to those of you who come to their defenses, (Greg Berge) I'm sure Vesce doesn't care if someone calls him out on the Elynah forum. Most of all I encourage all of you to stand up for your rights inside Lynah. In my time here I have seen the place transformed from one of the coolest places to watch a sporting event into something that isn't fun at all. (I might not even get tickets next year) That being said, we can do something about it let Schafer, Gene Nighman, Phil Ghrame and Andy Noel know of your displeasure. Send them emails, let them know that THEY are a big reason why we now lose routinely to teams like Clarkson at home. (If you want to bring up the fact we have less talent, fine, but we still have A LOT more talent than them.) The fact that a sign "Nickerson has syphillus" should not be allowed in is ridiculous. Go up to these men and let them know you won't stand for it. While I'm sure most of you hate me, be it known that I know a thing or two about hockey. Lynah is not what it used to be, you alums know that better than I do. DON'T STAND FOR IT. Start petitions or something. Maybe someone should mail Phil Ghrame a fish in the mail. Do something. It is really sad what has become of Lynah. On a side note, thank you Cowbell Guy for keeping me up to date on the world of gay porn.

I have to add a thankyou to Age also. It was nice to meet you in the flesh and we (my family and I) will look forward to meeting up with you again.

This is the place that has held my attention all winter. The only thing better is being at the game.

Yes Marty you're right. I have no grasp of the English language, I'm an idiot. Maybe becasue I was writing and Internet Post shorthand. This is what I mean, stupid alumni like you that continually reinforce the ivy league nerd ideal. You were an engineer weren't you? I'm sorry you couldn't get laid until halfway through your junior year, and if you feel the need to take that out on my grammer I understand. You stupid facetimer.

Yeah, but I'd rather thank the far more deserving Age than anyone who's most eloquent form of communication is punctuation and four-letter words:

Facetimer makes fun of Age, Greg, and others (including myself on at least one occasion). We make fun of Facetimer. There's a balance to these things.

Way to have a typo when you're trying to criticize me. You stupid facetimer. And Will, I made fun of you, aww I'm so sorry, it really was probably a joke. My making fun of Greg Berge was no joke, it was a defense of ben03 who had rudley been treated by the highly exaulted Greg. Now all of you go and try to pick this post apart for misplaced commas and mispelled words. You stupid facetimers. Except for those that take light in my conversation, such as disturbin the peace, who clearly has his/her priorities straight.

age thanks for keeping the site running and for helping us cheer on the red at my trips to dartmouth, uvm, 'gate, onion, and RIP this year. i still have yale left and my soon to be other half by law adds clarkson and st lawrence to her list of where she hasnt been. anyway, i will likely not have time for many if any games next year so all of you be nice to each other and cheer on the red in my place.

thank you to the student athletes for a great season and thanks for mr. moulson and matt for being nice people (i am sure the other guys are too but i havent talked to them much). anyway, see some of you this weekend. after a stressful day today (big test) and match day thursday, i will need some drinks this weekend :) who to cheer for? na, why not cheer against them all (laughs sinister-ly)

have a safe offseason everyone!

You my friend, have obviously never been to the Elizabeth Ikea on a Saturday. No, Jersey's ok. It has its charms, like the crack addict I almost ran over when I took a wrong turn in Newark, or the guy who conveniently passed out in the bushes in the park near my house the night my parents came to visit.

Thanks for the board, Age. It's a fantastic place to waste time when I'm bored at work or avoiding doing something, like, uh, packing up all my stuff to move. To another part of Jersey. I'm so going to wind up being a Montclair mom living in a subdivision. Lord help me.

BTW, and yes, I have been to the Elizabeth Ikea on a Saturday. I see places I recognize on the Sopranos, even, so if it's in North Jersey, there's a good chance I've been there. :-P

Hockey mom. Good god, man. Which of course will mean in 25 years or so I'm going to be divorced and sitting on a barstool in Dunbar's, horrifying my son by drinking too many vodka tonics and hitting on his teammates.

Just to add to what has already been said, without this site my love for Cornell hockey would not have grown so immensely (and I wouldn't have met so many great people!)

For that I am truly thankful. :-)

Keep up the Awesome work Age (I have an immense appreciation for sports photographers after this year. After trying so hard, my pictures will never ever rival yours. :-P )

You're right, there! It sucks! The fact is, in the not so distant past, the students actually had brains and used them creatively. Each year, many of us used to wonder, "What funny new cheer will the students come up with this year?" Now, the only creative aspect of cheering from the student section is for them to come up with something new to attach "SUCKS!" to. Any moron with a grade-school education can come up with "{fill in the blank} SUCKS!" It amazes me that 1,500 students who presumably all scored reasonably high on the verbal portion of the SAT's can't think of anything more creative than yelling, "{fill in the blank} SUCKS!". Of course, I guess I am expecting way too much since most of them are more interested in talking on their cell phones and generally not really paying attention to the fact that they are at a hockey game. I realize that I am something of an old fart relative to the hipsters of the student generation, but I can guarantee you that it wasn't that long ago when the students really were hip, creative, and intelligent. Those days are gone.
