after complaining a few months ago, my fiancee got an email today
channel 242 on the sports tier i believe. it isnt here in binghamton though

Yup, not only digital cable, but in a package bundled with Empire Sports, some Fox Sports channels, a few others.
The cost of the package is about $5/month.
The good news seems to be (check separate ECAC thread) that for those of us in Ithaca it should be possible to see the ECAC semifinal on Friday at 3:30 live, the later game on tape delay Saturday at 9 am (both on Empire) and the championship live on Saturday via CSTV.

Precisely my thinking.
Still, it's nice to know I can get CSTV for any of next year's games that I can't get to and might be on TV, such as the Everblades games.

Agreed--it's also great to go to Albany, and still be able to have the games recorded!
