I am a townie, or former townie, or former student non-townie or whatever, that is coming to Ithaca to see my parents for Thanksgiving and wanted to see if anyone wanted to sell 2 tickets to the Mercyhurst game on Saturday, November 29 that they might not be using over the holiday weekend.
You can contact me directly at paf12@cornell.edu
Thanks.

Try the ticket exchange... I see someone selling 3 tickets to the game currently there. Top link on LHS of screen.

It may be worthwhile to point out that the Cornell ticket office is selling seats for this game (according to my parents who live in Ithaca and are planning to or have already bought several tickets for random relatives coming in for the holiday). It wasn't clear to me whether these tickets had been turned in and were being resold, or if the ticket office is just overselling, knowing that lots of people wouldn't show.
Of course, I defintely recommend buying tickets from fellow faithful instead so they can recoup their cost...

I have bought "general admission" tickets from the ticket office for games over Thanksgiving weekend in years past and watched from the back of B. That may be what is going on here.

I may be wrong, but I thought I heard once that students can return the tickets for thanksgiving break to the ticket office and then the ticket office donates them to local kids clubs so little kids can come and enjoy their first Lynah experience. (note: I thought I heard this last year)

I heard about something similar to this for Winter Break games a few years back. It wouldn't surprise me if they tried to do the same thing for Thanksgiving games.

I apolgize in advance for doing this here, BUT....
While this thread is still partially active, I'll (quickly) mention that I have 4 seats available for the Mercyhurst game if anyone is either interested or knows someone who's interested.
(sorry - I already posted on the ticket exchange board, but I get the feeling that no one ever looks at it....)
I guess if no one's going to buy them, I could donate them, as suggested.
