Dom Moore so far has 2 assists and is +1 in his Ranger debut. Nice to see an ECAC guy get his NHL career of to a good start, especially for my Rangers.
Hahvahd, of course, still sucks.

Since I hate Hahvahd and merely dislike the Rangers, it's easy for me to say, "Argh". But it's still probably better for the ECAC overall to have Moore doing well. *grumble*

I was there last night, and though Moore did not score any points, he skated very well and played a smart game.

A bit from Newsday about Smooron versus Dmooron
---------------------------------------
Moore and Moore
Dominic and Steve Moore were teammates for two seasons at Harvard and both have reached the big stage, but on different teams. With parents Jack and Anna and oldest brother Mark at Madison Square Garden, Rangers forward Dominic and Avalanche forward Steve faced off.
Literally.
"I go out for a draw and there he is," Dominic Moore said. "We didn't say anything. I just won the draw and played hockey. That's all you can do."
Even when you see your older brother getting roughed up by a teammate, as Dominic did when Steve ran afoul of Vladimir Malakhov a couple of times.
"It's tough because you've got the brother thing going, but you're cheering for a win, too," Dominic said.

Did Moore start the year in New York or was he called up due to injuries, the fact the Rangers suck, etc. ?

The Rangers are over .500 10 games into the season for the first time in like 8 years, and that's with Leetch just returning, Bure gone probably for good, and Lindros hurt, so they're sucking a bit less this year. But yes, he was called up because Lindros got hurt, Pascal Rheaume was called up and got hurt, some other prospect was called up and sucked, so Dom got the call.

I'm not saying they're going to win the Stanley Cup, but even by this point of the season, they usually look like a bad ECHL team. There is a noticeable improvement in team system play that just hasn't been there in a long time.

The fact that the Ragners suck is entirely independent of their record-to-date or how they're playing on the ice.
Sort of like Harvard sucking...

Now there's another cogent comment...
Actually, seems the Rangers have been playing better hockey without Lindros.

The fact that there even IS a team system of play is something that hasn't been there for a long time.
