I would appreciate help in identifying Cornell players in the pictures I took at the Regional and F4. I'm trying to put together an index of the pictures by player and thought I'd post here before just making a super long Cornell ? list.
2003 Frozen 4:
[devsrule.com] (runs through P7)
2003 Regional vs. BC:
first question appears on: [devsrule.com] (runs through P12)
2003 Regional vs. Mankato:

2002 Regional vs. UNH:
first question appears on: [devsrule.com] (runs through P15)
2002 Regional vs. Quinnipiac:

thanks for any help,

Frozen Four: I have no idea on picture #1, I'm pretty sure picture #6 is Vesce, I'm not sure but I think picture #8 is Hornby, and picture #11 is Paolini.
BC: can't tell who #11 is - it's too far away.
Mankato: I think the second person in picture #2 is Bâby - it's either jersey #21 or 21, and 27 is Knopfeli, whose longer name would probably show up in the frame.
UNH: The guy on the left in picture #11 is David Kozier.
Quinnipiac: Picture #8 is Vesce; I really can't place any of the others.
Hope that helps!

below #8 - definitely paolini
Mankato -top middle photo think it was Bâby and the other guy (#2) is Bell

FF: Pic #1 is Shane Hynes with Murray. #6 is Pegoraro I'm pretty sure. Melissa is right about Hornby and Paolini.
The BC one is Jeremy Downs. You can make out a 2 and another number that could be a 3, and he is the only CU player that served a penalty that game with numbers that could match.
The UNH one should be Murray. I believed he served with the A last year.
Quin: #1 Palahicky. #7 Mark McRae. #8 Vesce (w/ Downs and Bâby).

According to the USCHO roster page from last season, the three alternate captains were Kozier, Ladocuer, and Murray. The one in the picture appears to be wearing #15, which was Kozier - don't they always line up numerically on the goal line before the game (other than the starting goalie)? That would put #15 pretty close to the middle of the pack and near the net. Of course, Ladocuer was #19, so maybe it's him, but the number on his right shoulder looks more like a five than a nine.
And obviously, #6 on the Frozen Four page can't be Vesce, since he appears to be shooting left-handed. My bad.

can't spend more than 2 min or so at a time looking at pics since I'm at work but Josh is definitely right about all the Quinn. game identities.

In the FF pictures, the person next to Hornby, Vesce, and Bell in #22 sure looks like McMeekin. No idea who it really is. And there's a picture towards the end with Chabot standing and three guys sitting. It's labeled as having Chris Abbot in it, but I don't think so, because on the left is Palahicky, and the guy next to him definitely has a 2 on his jersey, so it can't be abbott, unless of course you mean the guy all the way on the right, in which case, how do you know it's not Cam?

2003 Frozen Four: Pic 1 is Shane Hynes next to Murray. Pic 6 is DEFINITELY Pegoraro. Pic 8 is Hornby. Pic 11 is Paolini.
vs BC: the ? is definitely Downs.
vs Mankato: the first pair of question marks is Bell and Knoepfli. The player hidden behind Gerlach is probably Downs, considering he is Murray's defensive pair partner.
And in case you're wondering, the Quinnipiac player in #4 is Dan Ennis.

Josh, how did you know it was Mark, not Matt?

The 2nd digit on his right sleeve could be a nine, but it couldn't be a 7, therefore Mark. But looking at it again, I think it could also be Chris Abbot (not Cam by similar number shaping elimination method). Or maybe it's someone else.
I also realized that there are pages and pages of these pictures. That's a lot of time wasting potential!

Without even looking at the pictures, I can guarantee you that none of the players in the Quinnipiac pictures is either Chris Abbott or Cam Abbott.
Think about it ...

I couldn't figure it out until I looked at the roster again - it was late and I filled in number 19 instead of number 20- never actually thought it was Abbott just typed his name instead of Palahicky by accident. Thanks for catching that.

Thanks for the help so far. I've uploaded those corrections. If anyone does get bored and feels like going on to the other pages (I think all but one of the answers strictly pertained to the first page I posted), it'd be greatly appreciated.
Feel free to email me your corrections if that is easier.
thanks again,
-Melissa

I can answer that also - the two look different in the face and are quite distinguishable actually. This is definitely Mark as he has Mark's nose.

Ignoring UNH players...
Frozen 4 page 2: Cam Abbott, Ben Wallace, Hynes?, Hynes?, TBell
page 3: Knoepfli, Pegoraro, Hornby, Hynes?, TBell
page 4: Knoepfli, Downs
page 5: TBell, ermm... too many players. Maybe later

Thanks Arthur. I guess I should have stopped when I was right instead of bringing the Abbots into the mix. Wasn't even thinking about what game I was looking at when I was saying it could be Chris.
