This is part of a post from a BU fan on another message board who was at Lynah for the routs, er, games:
"I wasn't too upset with the Cornell games because they are gonna win
the National Championship (and trust me, Buffalo will almost be as
unbearable with Cornell fans as St. Paul was with Gopher fans). They
can score, they are big and physical and can wear opponents down, and
yet are very fast. Not to mention that LeNeveu (sp) is an
unbelievable goalie."
Also noticed a Harvard fan chimed in on BU's troubles on the USCHO board, saying that last night's win over a mediocre RPI team wasn't very impressive and that BU is, at best, a long-shot pick for the NCAAs. Can't say I disagree about the postseason comments, especially after the Lost Weekend in Ithaca, but a Crimson fan ranking on BU? Now I know the Terriers are really in trouble.
