How We Stack Up Against Harvard/Brown

Haven't seen much talk on here of the actual match-ups on the ice this weekend (ya know, after the fish is removed!).

Is it safe to assume that Friday will be a wide open, high scoring sort of affair? Would Harvard's rather powerful O be considered stronger or weaker than last year?

And Saturday, a goalie dual it would appear. Any thoughts on Danis?

Danis is Heinous

If the Harvard game is wide open, that would play into Harvard's hands. Hopefully, Cornell will control the tempo.

Will Harvard roll four lines tomorrow? In the ECAC Championship in Lake Placid, Harvard's fourth line played for only one shift that lasted for about twelve seconds.

Maybe you should move the Live at Lynah CD to a main topic so some band member sees it?

I have a hard time believing Schafer will tailor his strategy to fit each opponent's strengths.

It will be interesting to see if Cornell changes its forechecking strategy for tonight's game. Last March, after Harvard defensemen in their defensive zone passed the puck, the Cornell forecheckers quickly turned around rather than finish their checks. That strategy avoided having Cornell forecheckers get out of position against a fast team, but it sacrificed an opportunity to physically wear down the Harvard defensemen. In addition, late in the postseason games against Harvard and UNH, Cornell eschewed its two-man forecheck for a more conservative one-man forecheck.

it doesn't rhyme with anus. It's actually pronounced like donny

No shit Erica. Really? Maybe you should critique my grammar while you are at it...

It was a joke, referring to the drunk idiot present during the most recent live at lynah recording who kept shouting "Danis, your name rhymes with anus."

And while we are being pedantic, I believe it is actually Dah-knee, not Donny.

That guy was doing it on purpose. I believe it was to insult Danis. The kid also swore at him in French, and told him that his mother should have thrown him into the St. Lawrence River.
