So I called the Cornell ticket office a couple days ago and asked them about the possibility of getting NCAA tickets, should we make the tourney. To say they were clueless would be giving them way to much credit, initially telling me about Lake Placid tickets ( < sob story >which I would go to 'cept I don't have any friends willing to make the trip this year < / sob story > ).
So I'm just wondering if those of you who have been around longer that I have could give me any clue how I can expect this to work. Does Cornell get an allottment? (I was at the regionals last year and each school seemed to have a section) Do I have a reasonable chance of getting them or a shot in hell? When do they go on sale? Will it be a major issue that I plan on being home for Spring Break when we find out who made it? And if it matters, yes, I have season tickets (2 even).
Much oblidged .

Cornell will get an allotment for the Regionals and for the Frozen Four if our hockey team makes it to those stages. It's not a very large allotment, though, and most of the good seats for those events were sold many months ago.
As for when they go on sale, you really would have to ask the ticket office that question - if the person you get on the phone has no clue, ask for Gene.
