Pokulok takes an absolutely necessary penalty to prevent a breakaway; McKee makes a brilliant extended leg save on the resulting penalty shot by Yaworski.

Yale announcers saying some very nice things about Lynah and The Faithful, about how much spirit there is, and how it's rare to see that much at schools in the northeast. Gotta hand it to them for complimenting their opponents.

Stick save by McKee with 18 seconds left. Face off in front of McKee.

I'll take it. That was a very dangerous Yale team.

Except that Cornell mostly outplayed them. What happened?

Very disappointing game in my eyes. Just let that point get away with some sloppy D. Let's hope O'Byrne can play next week against Colgate.

Not a satisfying game. Either we can't score even strength goals (which is true) or we play to the level of our opponent (and thus lack mental toughness). Tonites result and the weekend reflect poorly on the squad. Not to mention, we drop another point to 'Gate in the conference standings.

I thought they played better tonight than they did last night but this team has very little offense. They can get shots but not many high quality chances. This is the kind of game Moulson needs to be the difference in. The McCutcheon goal was the nicest Cornell goal this season.

I think Cornell thoroughly outplayed Yale, but the Bulldogs never gave up and earned the tie with a late push. It happens.

Also, thought the officiating was the worst it has been all season. All hooking and holding both ways was let go. The hit from behind on Seminoff late in the second was probably the most blatant non-call of the season. Thought that failed 4-on-3 was an enormous blown opportunity.

good effort, shitty result.

I am not blaming the refs, but they effected the outcome of this game. where do they get these guys? challenge industries? (ok, bad joke I know...)

That was an AWESOME hit on Ryan O'Byrne by the Yale player. I know that O'Byrne got injured, and that is unfortunate, but that is a textbook hit. You have to admire a good hit when you see one.

Speaking of hits, Cornell got outhit, and right after the O'Byrne hit, Sawada got hit in the neutral zone pretty bad as well.

Does anyone have video of the McCutcheon goal and hit on O'Byrne??
